Overview

For cardio day, you can do whatever you prefer. The main goal however is to get your heart racing and keep your cardiovascular health optimised. And hopefully you enjoy doing it in the process!

With this in mind, you’ll need to do something more strenuous than just a walk.

Cardiovascular exercise also helps to get your blood flowing, and your body recovering from your weight sessions. It can often be a good idea to do your cardio sessions on the days you feel most sore.

• Elliptical

• Stair climber

• Swimming
