Yogurt with fresh fruit and seeds

INGREDIENTS:

White live yogurt (1 cup)

Fresh fruit (your choice but we suggest opting for fruits which can be grown in the UK) (1 handful)

Mixed seeds (pumpkin, hemp, flax) (2 thumbs)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Simply pour your yoghurt into a bowl and top with the fruit and seeds. 

NUTRITIONAL EVALUATION:

Plenty of protein from the yogurt as well as live ferments which are great for supporting a healthy gut. Proteins are key for muscle growth and repair, especially if paired with carbohydrates (from the fruit). Yogurt is a fermented food rich in probiotic bacteria, which can help repopulating and balancing the microbiota. Fibre from the fruit and seeds. Plenty of omega3 and minerals from seeds.
