Protein pot with eggs and spinach

Oatcakes (1 fist)

Nut butter (ideally walnut or hazel)

DIRECTIONS:

  1. These ingredients can be bought ready to go from most supermarkets so are a great option on the go. 

NUTRITIONAL EVALUATION:

This breakfast will provide you with all the macros you need (protein, fat, carbs) plus fibre from the spinach. Oats are prebiotics which can help feed your good gut bacteria, which will improve gut and general health. Proteins from the eggs and nut butter are key for muscle growth and repair, especially if paired with carbohydrates. Is also important to add fibre to each meal to reach the NHS recommended 30g per day. Choose nut butters such as walnut, as those nut grow in the UK making them a more sustainable choice. Also make sure there is no palm oil in your nut butter
